Athena, the 75mm Resin Miniature of the Goddess of Wisdom

The ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, guide and inspiration to Odysseus, comes to life in this 75mm resin miniature. Spear in hand, the Gorgon shield at her side and the owl at her shoulder, she stands among the ruins of her own temple.

The scenic base

The figure comes with a scenic base featuring the ruins of a Greek temple and the sacred tree of the goddess, the olive tree. Both are included in the kit.

What you receive

The Athena 75mm resin miniature is supplied unassembled and unpainted, cast in high quality resin. The kit includes components and the scenic base shown in the photographs.
Painted images are illustrative only and show one possible finish.
The kit contains an alternative head (with and without helmet).

Recommended for hobbyists aged 14 and over. Contains small parts.

Then the goddess, flashing-eyed Athena, answered him:
“Father of us all, thou son of Cronos, high above all lords, if indeed this is now well pleasing to the blessed gods that the wise Odysseus should return to his own home, let us send forth Hermes, the messenger, Argeiphontes, to the isle Ogygia, that with all speed he may tell to the fair-haired nymph our unwavering resolve, even the return of steadfast Odysseus, that he may come home. But, as for me, I will go to Ithaca, that I may the more arouse his son, and set courage in his heart to call to an assembly the long-haired Achaeans, and speak out his word to all the suitors, who are ever slaying his thronging sheep and his sleek kine of shambling gait. And I will send him to Sparta and to sandy Pylos, to seek tidings of the return of his dear father, if haply he may hear of it, that good report may be his among men.”
