Odysseus

Description

Odysseus, the 75mm Resin Miniature That Opens the Odyssey Collection

Immerse yourself in Homer’s world with this 75mm resin miniature of the mastermind behind the Trojan Horse. Odysseus stands on the shattered hull of his own ship, the horse-head prow rising behind him and a slain Gorgon at his feet: a single moment of the long journey home, captured in resin.

Design, sculpture and painting

Designed by Michele Rubini and sculpted by Alberto Acquaviva, the piece carries an awesome level of surface detail, from the layered leather of the armour to the splintered planking of the wreck.
Box art by Francesco Farabi, with a second alternative box art design by Federico Rovida also available.
The Kit contains alternative head (with and without helmet) and arms (sword and arch).

What you receive

Tell me, Muse, of the man of many ways, who wandered far after he had brought down the sacred city of Troy. He saw the cities of many peoples and learned their minds, and upon the sea he endured countless sorrows in his heart, striving to save both his own life and the homecoming of his companions.

Homer — Odyssey, Book I, vv. 1-6
