Aegean Shades Set: Six Kimera Kolors Velvet Inks (15 ml per bottle) for the Odyssey Collection

The Aegean Shades Set brings together six Kimera Kolors Velvet concentrated acrylic inks chosen for the sea, the sky and the bronze of Homer’s world.
Five are from the Velvet range. The sixth, Itaca Sea, exists only for this collection.

The six colours

Dark Ocean — the deep water below the hull, for the darkest shadows.
Indigo — a cold violet blue for night skies and deep shade.
Phthalo Blue — a pure, intense blue for saturated mid tones.
Phthalo Green — a deep sea green for weathered bronze and water.
Itaca Sea — a luminous turquoise, exclusive to the Odyssey Collection.
Celeste — a pale light blender for the highest highlights.

How Velvet inks work

Velvet inks are concentrated and highly transparent, with a matte finish. They can be used undiluted for saturated colour, thinned into glazes for soft transitions, or mixed into other acrylics to shift temperature. Each 15 ml dropper bottle contains an agitator ball for consistent mixing.

Built as a palette, not a random selection

The six shades are arranged from the darkest to the lightest value, so they can be used as a complete tonal ramp on a single figure: Dark Ocean in the deepest recesses, Celeste on the final highlights, with the four intermediate tones covering everything in between.

What the set is designed for

The palette was selected for Odyssey Collection, but works on any subject where water, cold light and aged metal are involved.
